SLASH SIGNED HANDWRITTEN GUNS N' ROSES SET LIST

A Slash signed handwritten set list attributed to the 1988 Guns N' Roses performance at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This set list does not match the performance given that night. It was obtained by a roadie for the band, so it may have been an early draft. Slash later signed the set list at a 2011 benefit. Accompanied by a photograph of Slash at the 2011 benefit, a parking pass for the 1988 concert, and a green All Access concert pass.

AXL ROSE MESSAGES TO ERIN EVERLY

A group of hotel message notes from Axl Rose to Erin Everly. Four of the messages were left while Everly was staying at the Hotel Plaza Athenee asking where Everly was or telling her that he would call again tomorrow. A fifth message is to "Erwin" from "Jacke Lamotta" with the message "Where were you love Axel [sic]." Accompanied by a Bally's Las Vegas reservation card from 1990 in the name of "Rob Cradle" and an express checkout card with an imprint of Rose's credit card.

AXL ROSE LOVE LETTERS

A group of four love notes written by Axl Rose to Erin Everly, including three handwritten postcards and one card with original envelope. One of the postcards is written to their pet Torque and reads in part, "Take good care of your mother + tell her how much we appreciate her... ." Each signed "-Axl-."

AXL ROSE LOVE LETTERS TO ERIN EVERLY

A handwritten letter and postcard from Axl Rose to Erin Everly. The letter is written on Hotel Reichshof stationery and reads in part, "Hopefully we will have talked before you get this note - I love you, and I miss you. Thank you for coming back and also for holding me. That was one of the most important and special moments of my life." With original transmittal envelope dated September 28, 1987. The postcard, with an image of a fox on the front, is inscribed by Rose on verso "I love you Erin - your - -Axl-."

A collection of items relating to Guns N' Roses, including an early black and white publicity photograph of the band from Uzi Suicide Records, the band's personal record company that released its EP prior to Geffen Records releasing Appetite for Destruction ; a flyer for the "Live like Suicide" Christmas party on December 23, 1986, held at the Cathouse; two video stills; four black and white negative image publicity flyers for the band; a Geffen Records publicity packet with information from the band members about each song on Appetite for Destruction ; a printout of an article regarding a feud between the band Poison and Guns N' Roses that resulted in the assault of a Geffen publicist; a 1988 metal magazine poster advert with images of Axl Rose and an additional magazine poster with an image of Guns N' Roses; and five black and white candid images of Guns N' Roses band members.

A group of four ID badges and backstage passes issued to Erin Everly including a Cult Electric World Tour All Access laminate; an Alice Cooper Raise Your Fist and Yell All Access pass; a Rolling Stones and Guns N' Roses Steel Wheels All Access pass with "Erin - Please Don't give it away" written on the pass; and an Iron Maiden All Access/Support Act pass with an image of Everly. Together on a clip lanyard.

AXL ROSE ALL ACCESS PASS

An All Access pass issued to Axl Rose for The Cult Electric 13 World Tour with an image of Rose in a Mickey Mouse T-shirt. Guns N' Roses was the support band for The Cult's tour. Matt Sorum, The Cult's drummer for this tour, later left that band to join Guns N' Roses. Accompanied by two small images of Rose.

A pair of silver tone Identification bracelets owned by Axl Rose. The first is a medical ID bracelet that reads "AXL." When opened it says "Contact Lenses." The second reads "W. Axl Rose" and is inscribed on back "I luv u Axl! Gun's #1 Fan 4-ever Stephanie Lipman."

AXL ROSE LOVE NOTES

A group of three love notes written by Axl Rose to Erin Everly. The first is a poem handwritten on Hotel De Crillon - Paris stationery that reads in part, "Now I write this poem for you/ Just another thing I do/ Somehow time has seen us through/ & the harmonies of love ring true." The second is a small scrap of paper that reads in full, "No love was there more true Erin I love you Goodbye sweet child - Love Always, - Axl -." The third is a Rita Flora enclosure card that reads in full, "Erin - Somethin' to cheer you up - hope you feel better - Miss you - Love -Axl-." Accompanied by a photocopy of a heart and banner tattoo design with the name "Axl" in the banner.

A group of five childhood images of Axl Rose. In three Rose is dressed like Raggedy Andy. Accompanied by three typed letters from Rose's stepfather, Stephen Bailey, and three New Day Donut and DeliShop cards made out to "Will Bailey."

A group of 12 notebook pages handwritten by Axl Rose with notes, lyrics and signed draft letters. One letter, dated August 17, 1984, addresses the topic of a Guns N' Roses album cover and the controversy created. The date is inconsistent with Guns N' Roses album release. Another lists Rose's goals, including "B-1 Establish financial freedom...pay all debts - literal & cerebral...B-3 Find Home - establish bi-coastal dwellings B-4 Get a fucking car!!!...B-5 Servants (secretaries & assistants) Female and Male... ."

AXL ROSE AND ERIN EVERLY MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE

A marriage certificate issued by Clark County, Nevada, for the marriage of W. Axl Rose and Erin Invicta Everly on April 28, 1990, certificate number C199803. The venue for the ceremony is listed as Cupid Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

AXL ROSE AND ERIN EVERLY EPHEMERA

A group of items from the marriage of Erin Everly and Alex Rose including a note written to Everly from Rose on a Thanksgiving napkin that reads "My Erno- Thanx fo' a wonderful thanksgiving and a bitchin' turkey-day dinner - !!! Love - yo pilgram! [sic]- Axl -"; a handwritten letter written on lined paper from Rose to Everly addressed "Dearest Erin" and reads in part, "Thank you wife o' mine!!!" and signed "Love that everlovin' Man o' yours!!! Axl" (Rose has drawn a small mailbox in the upper right corner that reads "Rose's"); an insurance card for the pair's Jeep Wrangler issued to both Axl and Erin Rose; and a wedding congratulations card.

An Axl Rose owned pair of black leather pants. Skinny cut with zippers at ankles, lace grommet closure. Accompanied by a Japanese InRock magazine from 1988 with an image on the cover of Rose in the same or similar pants. No size or label present.

AXL ROSE PERSONAL ITEMS

A group of Axl Rose's personal items including a Mickey Mouse Lorus watch; a lanyard with multiple keys, a pocket knife and Ripley's Believe it or Not token; a loose key that appears to be from a hotel room; a Troubadour 1984 button; a novelty "Pam Pam" toy gun; a Garfield "I love Oakland School" button; an additional lanyard; and a metal whistle.  Rose is seen here wearing the whistle in a publicity image. A collection of six items with notes from Axl Rose to Erin Everly including a note written on the back of a band flyer that reads "Erin - I got's no keys woman - be back in a coupla hours love - Axl -"; a gift box addressed to "Erwin Baby!!!" from "Wayne!!! (yo' man)"; a flower card enclosure written in Rose's hand that reads "Erin - Sorry yo' birthday sucked Love - Axl -"; a flower card enclosure written in an unknown hand that reads "I got some. but you's could use some too. Love, Axl"; a dry erase board with the message "Erin - I love you Your Cowhead"; and a list on note paper started by Everly and completed by Rose with a note that reads "Thanx for wanting to help It means a lot to me! I love you - Your Axy."

 

AXL ROSE NOTEBOOK

An Axl Rose three-ring binder notebook with poems, notes and drawings. Approximately 23 pages with Rose's handwritten entries. One passage reads in part, "Don't call me sinner/ I ain't your saint/ Don't want your history/ don't need your fate/ your religion's a joke/ your legend a lie/ give up the ghost/ and fucking die/ you pollute the airwaves/ with your driveling shit... ."

A copy of a 1988 document from Axl Rose's lawyers regarding his name change, dated March 9, 1988. Accompanied by a letter written and signed by Rose and then girlfriend Erin Everly to Everly's landlord regarding the unlawful entry of Everly's apartment by her landlord. Dated December 11, 1986.

The paper towel poem is titled "Tantrum I" and reads in part, "Someone please make it stop/ beating them back to the bushes/ God knows they'll come back again/ been through this so many times... ."

AXL ROSE DOMESTIC ABUSE REPORT

A Los Angeles Police Department Preliminary Investigation of Domestic Violence, dated March 27, 1988. The report states that victim was beaten with fists and kicked. Accompanied by a purchase bill from the 1990 sale of Erin Everly's wedding ring, which she sold to Sullivan and Company; a Van Cleef & Arpels Beverly Hills card from Axl Rose to Erin Everly that reads "Mrs. Rose" on the exterior and "I love you Erin - - Axl -" in Rose's hand; a receipt from Franklin Fuller Properties in the amount of $5,027.00 paid for in part for rent, lawyers' fees, keys and damage; and a receipt from Crown T.V. for the repair of a television set that Everly says Rose broke.

AXL ROSE BREAK-UP LETTERS TO ERIN EVERLY

A group of four letters and notes from Axl Rose to his ex-wife, Erin Everly. The first is a letter written on the back of three envelopes. The first envelope, dated November 8, 1986, has been ripped apart and taped back together. The letter reads in part, "...I love you 0 Now 'm scared and I've become bitter to keep myself going. I hope that you'll be ok..I know this was some birthday present...I'll miss you, I wasn't looking for someone to take your place...sorry I hurt you. Love -Axl-" The second letter, written on a sheet of white paper, reads in part, "I just can't bear this life..The name William proves too much to bear." Rose signs the letter "Think of me when you wipe yo ass." The third item is a gift enclosure card. The envelope reads "From - An Asshole!!!" The enclosure is pre-printed with the words "With Sympathy," and Rose has written "I Mean it!!!! - Happy Birthday -." The fourth item is a note written on the back of a Luxury Line Rent A Car envelope that reads in full, "Erin, Axl wished these to be returned to you and requested that you not call him." Signed illegibly.

A pair of Axl Rose owned jeans. Made by Big John. Lace front closure with leather detail, skinny cut. No size present.

 

AXL ROSE SUNGLASSES

A pair of Axl Rose's prescription sunglasses. One temple missing, the other reads "Made in Italy 010."

AXL ROSE AND ERIN EVERLY NOTES

An Axl Rose handwritten note to Erin Everly written on a paper towel, signed twice by Rose. The note reads in part, "Sorry for being so hard on you...you didn't do anything wrong I just became frustrated with my predicament and didn't know how to verbalize my feelings." With a handwritten note from Erin Everly to Rose written on Minnie Mouse note paper with a poem handwritten by Rose on verso. The note from Everly reads in part, "I am so sorry for acting up today. It was all my fault and I should have been more consitirate [sic] to you. and how you need your sleep... ." Someone has written "Bullshit!!!" on the bottom of the note. The handwritten poem written by Rose on verso reads in part, "Like a ghost without the chains/ I walk as slow amidst the pain/ To the top of the stairs/ no light awaits me there/ A wasted journey."
